Mr. A. A. SHODERU
CHAIRMANMr. Shoderu is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner with management and professional expertise spanning over five decades in the insurance industry. He started his insurance career with Legal and General Assurance Company in Birmingham, United Kingdom. He has worked with T. A. Braithwaite Insurance Brokers, NICON Insurance Plc and Femi Johnson & Co (Insurance Brokers) where he rose to the position of an Executive Director before he left in 1984 to establish Man – Mountain Insurance Brokers Ltd. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and Nigeria, a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
Mr. Shoderu is highly respected in insurance industry because of his valuable contribution to the growth of Nigerian insurance market. He was the former President of Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) and a Fellow of the Council. He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. Mr. Shoderu has attended various courses both home and overseas and the most recent was on Oil and Gas insurance organized by Chartered Insurance Institute, London and the seminar on Nigerian Content Development Act 2011 organized by NCRIB.
Mr. Shoderu is happily married with children.
